In Memory of ...
Latte, the first guinea pig I ever owned. I spent years begging my parents for a pig and I got him on my 10th birthday. He was the specialist thing to happen to me and I miss him completely beyond belief. Even two years past, my time has not really healed my heart. I love you to death Piggy -- there's not a day that goes by when I don't think of you. I can't wait to see you again.
Mouse, my family's first pony. He taught my sister and me so many things. He was very naughty and made us cry many times, but he meant everything to us. Miss you Mousey Moo. Please wait for me.

House pets
ChewyChewy is a 2 year old guinea pig I was given a year after my first pig, Latte, passed away. He was unable to continue living with his previous owners. Chewy lives up to his name a little too well -- he gets his teeth on anything he can!

JET AND wALNUTThis is Jet ... Walnut wouldn't participate for the picture. These two guys originally came from a company dinner and were placed in wine glasses for decorations. My dad felt badly for them and took them home. They've been with us for 8 years and show no signs of slowing!

wilsonWilson is a 5 year old Flat-Coated Retriever. He loves playing with his ball, retrieving rocks (don't ask) and his favorite activity is swimming! Will can be extremely stubborn and easily excitable, but he's an awesome side-kick!

Nika |
Nika is a 3 year old Boxer with a touch of Bulldog mixed in at one point. She was a rescue from my local animal shelter. Nika enjoys following her people around and cuddling. She has learned to pick up rocks from Will which is slightly annoying. Also - don't tell her - but she is not a very good swimmer despite her efforts!

Horses
Samsara Fayek III, or simply known as Sara, is a registered 1985 Arabian. She excels in First Level dressage and was my own first horse. She is currently retired but we still hang out together. I owe this mare every bit of thanks and room in my heart for teaching me the basics and enabling me to excel my skills on younger horses. She has enjoyed showing competitively, learning how to jump for USPC and being my first super star for USPC. I have owned her since 2006.

Imperial Scotch Bonnet, simply known as Scotch, is a 1999 registered APHA. He is the family's newest horse and works primarily with my sister. Scotch is a beast in the show jumping ring and travels to many shows, USPC events and to Meadow Brook Farm every summer for intense training with my sister. This horse is super sweet, teaching my sister a lot and loves jumping -- he has free jumped up to 4 feet! We have owned Scotch since 2009.

Unfortunately I do not own this wonderful pony, but he is owned by my riding coach who free-leases him to me. James Blonde, or Axel, is a 2004 Haflinger who I currently ride. He has taken me to my C2 in USPC and is teaching me First and Second Level dressage. He can also jump up to 3'3" and enjoys both stadium jumping and cross country. Every year we take week-long trail ride excursions with the barn family. Axel is a tough horse to ride and can be a little rude, but I love every fiber of him and the immense amount of knowledge and skill he has taught me. I have been riding him since 2010.
